I bought a new hand-held set of lights and am officially obsessed! I spent a few hours on Bank Holiday Monday in Blackpool, documenting the people and colours that caught my eye. I am particularly in love with the intensity of the colours I captured in the midday heat and the ability of these lights to match the intensity of the sun. I have been studying work by photographers Sophie Green, Jack Davison and Michelle Groskopf who I find really inspiring. Hopefully I will be able to integrate more of this immediacy in style in any future commissions!
